About this painting:
The Angel Michael has been a crucial figure in my life since childhood. I was a very young child, around 5 years old, when I first noticed that I could see a blue figure to the right of me; it was a footless blue light in the shape of a person, who was very tall and appeared to look down at me from above. I saw a similar green figure on my left-hand side. Michael was with me since day 1, supporting me through challenging childhood experiences. On several occasions I have felt the swoop of Michael’s angelic wings over my body when I have been lying on a couch or bed, feeling unhappy. I hear the sound of Michael’s voice in my mind when I am seeking guidance, spiritual support or comfort. These experiences have deepened my trust in this presence over the years. I regularly commune with the being I know as Michael, and painted this portrait to honour him and his powerful presence in my life.
Michael tells me he is Sovereign, and to call him Sovereign Michael, rather than Archangel Michael. Michael reminds us that to become truly Sovereign we accept our power, we accept that we have decided to be here on Earth during this phase of humanity’s development for a powerfully important reason. Michael reminded me that I am God-Source-Creator and that I am responsible for everything in my life. Even though we do not, and cannot decide another’s course of action, our souls have come here accepting the conditions and circumstances that life here entrails; and so we decided, and we created our lives for ourselves, for ours and others' souls evolution - for We Are All One. When we take responsibility, we take our power back. We are responsible for how we perceive our reality, for perception is a form of creativity - of creating our reality.
When I decided to paint this portrait of Michael, I asked him how he wanted to be portrayed. Michael communicated that he is Chief of the Angels, and as such he wished to be pictured with certain regalia to denote his office; Michael wears the Crown of Wisdom, which connects his Third-eye and Crown chakras to The Source, allowing him access to All that Is and to The Source, so Michael can know anything he needs to at any time. Michael encouraged me to also wear the Crown of Wisdom when I want answers. I go into a quiet meditative place and put on the crown when I need answers to any of life’s questions. I have found this is a very efficient and effective way to connect to divine wisdom. Michael also wears Kryon’s crystal for Trust (Mona’Oha) on his heart, because Michael stands in ultimate faith and full trust in The Source, God-Source-Creator. For more information about Kryon’s Crystal’s for Divine Reality, go to www.kryonschool.com. Michael holds the sceptre of Light in his left hand, to signify that he is Michael of The Source of Light (as opposed to anti-Source, the source of darkness). With his right hand, he holds a blue flame over his heart, signifying his passion for truth and justice. Michael’s sword is displayed behind him, showing his role as the executor of God’s Law, for Michael is empowered to be such by Source directly.
Michael’s name means ‘he who is alike to God’, and in fact, all angelic energies can therefore be referred to as ‘Mi-Chael (or K-el)’, for angelic energies represent the first branching out of Source-God-Creator essence into the space created for existence - for the universes, the various densities and dimensions, for all forms of life to take form. Michael can be seen as a prime creator and a facsimile expression of Source, in a form which could be considered more personable, thus a suitable intermediary for humans to connect to God-Source-Creator,. I still have many questions about the being we call Michael - is there just one of him? Is he polymorphous? Does the name Michael refer to a role or a unique and specific individual? As yet I don’t know the answers to these questions, and I look forward to learning so much more. For now, I have my own direct experiences, which increase daily.
